Peer Reviewer Process

MJMB employs a double-blind peer-review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective, fair, and unbiased evaluation process. Each submitted manuscript undergoes the following stages:

1. Initial screening by the Editor to assess the manuscript's suitability with the journal's focus and scope, formatting requirements, and submission completeness.
2. Peer review by at least one expert reviewer with relevant expertise in the manuscript's subject area.
3. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editorial decision may be one of the following:
   • Accept
   • Minor Revision
   • Major Revision
   • Reject
4. Authors are required to revise the manuscript in accordance with the reviewers' comments within the specified revision period.
5. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision after evaluating the reviewers' recommendations and the revised manuscript.
6. The estimated review period is 2–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the quality of the submitted revisions.
