Peer Reviewer Process
MJMB employs a double-blind peer-review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective, fair, and unbiased evaluation process. Each submitted manuscript undergoes the following stages:
- Initial screening by the Editor to assess the manuscript's suitability with the journal's focus and scope, formatting requirements, and submission completeness.
- Peer review by at least one expert reviewer with relevant expertise in the manuscript's subject area.
- Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editorial decision may be one of the following:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
- Authors are required to revise the manuscript in accordance with the reviewers' comments within the specified revision period.
- The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision after evaluating the reviewers' recommendations and the revised manuscript.
- The estimated review period is 2–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the quality of the submitted revisions.
